2020 New Professional Credentials for Yoga Teachers
We are an inclusive organisation. Unlike Yoga Alliance (USA) and other yoga organisations, we accept ALL yoga teacher graduates onto our registry, regardless of whether they’ve attended an approved training school or not, as long as the training matches up to our pre-decided standards.
A Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) credential is earned by yoga teachers whose training and teaching experience meet Yoga Alliance International’s registration criteria. An Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT) credential is earned by yoga teachers who can supply evidence of yoga classes teaching hours experience.
We grandfather senior teachers who have been teaching for over ten years full time but do not have formal certification.
Yoga therapists and Bikram teachers are welcome to join our registry.
