The globally accepted professional credential for Yoga Teachers
Yoga teachers members or non-members of the association can register as a RPYT if they have successfully completed a 50 contact hours minimum Prenatal teacher training with a Yoga Alliance International or a similar recognised organisation Registered Prenatal Yoga School (RPYS).
RPYT courses are suitable for non-yoga persons working in a professional capacity who would like to incorporate prenatal yoga into their profession.
Applicants must have completed 50 hours minimum Prenatal yoga training in the presence of a member of the association registered as a ERYT 200/250 PLUS/350/500/500 PLUS/1500 hrs or a RYT 500/500 PLUS/1500 with a RPYT qualification

Must hold a 200 hour or higher yoga teaching qualification

Public Liability Insurance
Non-Yoga Persons who hold one or more qualifications listed below:
Midwife, obstetrician, maternal child health nurse
Current First Aid Certificate
Public Liability Insurance
No hours of yoga classes attendance or teaching experience are required
Non-Yoga Persons that do not hold a vocational qualification
Must have been practising yoga for at least six months prior applying for Yoga Alliance membership. *Evidence of yoga classes attendance are required by submission of Statutory
Declaration that confirms the number of total hours and sites address attended

What is a Statutory Declaration?
A statutory declaration is a legal document defined under the law of certain Commonwealth. It is similar to a statement made under oath, however, it is not sworn nations. *Please download the Statutory Declaration
When you write a statutory declaration, you should include
Your full name
Your address
Your occupation
A statement that you "do solemnly and sincerely declare"
Associate Yoga Student + RPYT- $ 270

Teachers with a 200 minimum teaching qualification from a school registered or non-registered with Yoga Alliance International
A Non-Yoga Person who works in a professional capacity as a counsellor, occupational therapist, social worker, school teacher, midwife, obstetrician or maternal child health nurse that has minimum 50 hours Prenatal training from the YA-International’s CEAS (Continuing Education Accredited School) or a non-registered YA-International yoga school. *Prenatal yoga training must be completed with a qualified RPYT teacher. *Evidence of qualification (s) in one or more field listed above is required
A Yoga Student enrolled on a 200 hours yoga teacher training aiming to build yoga teaching pathway who has completed minimum 50 hours in any yoga subject including RPYT with YA-International’s CEAS (Continuing Education Accredited School) or a non-registered YA-International yoga school. *To upgrade membership from Associate Yoga Student to RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) MUST complete a 200 hour teacher training
Note:
The Associate Yoga Student membership enable non-yoga persons to teach Prenatal yoga classes to member of the public only if the requirements above are fully met and hold professional insurance and a current first aid certificate
Applicants who have completed course will receive the RPYT and the Associate Yoga Student designation combined together
Applicants enrolled on a yoga teacher training course who have completed a RPYT cannot teach classes to other until have completed a minimum 200 hour yoga teacher training
