The assessment for ERYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) applications is rigorous, ensuring that only suitably qualified teachers who meet the criteria set forth by Yoga Alliance can apply
Applicants MUST supply evidence of teaching hours pre-post qualification listed below:
Studio owners/Self-employed: Must supply a letter of confirmation from their accountant stating the total number of hours taught for the level of membership applied for. Sample Letter Accountant
Teachers employed by studios, health clubs, gyms or corporates: Must supply one or more letter of reference stating the number of hours taught
All documents submitted to Yoga Alliance for the purpose of registration are deemed legally binding and enforceable.
Without evidence of teaching experience applications for ERYT may be declined. *Evidence are a mandatory requirements to ensure the authenticity of educational and professional credentials.
Do not send your original documents as Yoga Alliance retains the documents that are submitted and they will not be returned to you. However you must be prepared to present your original documents to Yoga Alliance for inspection if requested. If you are overseas you should send your original documents by post.
Yoga Alliance reserves the right to decline an application without explanation.
