Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT/PLUS) with Yoga Alliance®
I have been practicing yoga for approximately 10 years. I initially commenced yoga for the physical benefits of asanas but was soon drawn to the spiritual benefits. I completed my first level yoga certification 200 hour RYT in 2016 in Queensland. I then continued on to complete my 300 hour yoga teaching training in Goa, India in 2017.
I take a spiritual and holistic approach to teaching sharing the many benefits of yoga on a physical, mental and emotional level for balanced health and wellbeing. Yoga and meditation as a tool for mind body connection and mindfulness and have undertaken studies in this area which I bring through in each class. I teach a variety of yin and yang yoga styles as both are needed for internal and external balance.
As an individual and teacher, my learning and growth never ends. I am forever grateful to my teachers, amazing mentors and my students who are also my teachers. I look forward to meeting you all, helping you achieve your goals, sharing my practice with you as you develop and grow through your yoga practice and all aspects of life.
I teach intuitively. No two classes are the same as no two yoga teachers are the same. What you get in my class is my training, experience and life experience. I adapt my teaching to my students on the day. Everything I have learnt and continue to learn comes through in my teachings.
