I have been in the fitness industry since I left High school and have always been into all the Les Mills programs and high intensity training and I love running. 3 years ago a got a job working in the FIFO industry as a Fitness Trainer and had to start teaching Stretch & Strength classes. I realised how unexperienced I was in Stretching so I started to attend all different Yoga classes for my own personal flexibility and to bring some ideas to my stretch & Strength participants. To this day I am grateful that Yoga found me. I use to be one of these 100miles per hour kind of people, would stress out of little things and just didn’t know how to slow down. I was doing Yoga on and off for a few years and since October 2013 I really started to develop my Yoga practise further. I feel like I am a completely different person and I can’t stop telling everyone how Yoga has changed my life. I am a lot happier, calmer and grounded person human being. I still love my running and weights training but do Yoga on a regular basis which keeps me balanced. I am taking Yoga to the FIFO lifestyle to change the culture and to help prevent depression and suicide.
Yoga is all about making that change to your mind, body and soul. Through my Yoga journey if I can help change one or more lives I will be happy!
