Carla Ciatto – Roma
Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance® Italia
For many years I lived between Rome and New York working in photography and improving my interest in yoga through daily practice, until becoming a teacher. Today the two professions coexist in balance and mutual enrichment, I live in Rome and I regularly travel to New York, always tempting for my professional skills.
I approached Yoga in the early 2000s, from there I started to deepen my practice following many teachings, practicing at the same time Tai Chi Chuan.
A few years later, with the discovery of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga of Pattabhi Jois, I started to approach this style; then I traveled to India spending a period in Ashram in Rishikesh; over the years I have deepened Vinyasa Flow attending YTTP school in New York; nowadays I regularly attend intensive classes of Hatha Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Anusara Yoga; my practice is constantly enriched by participation in seminars and by the reading of texts.
In these years of practice and training I approached the meditation following a Zen Center, then many Vipassana seminars, and today the teachings according to the Theravada tradition.
In 2016 I got the diploma as Yoga teacher certified by C.S.E.N by attending the RYT-200 hours Teacher Training.
Today I propose Yoga classes to improve your own practice or approach it for the first time, discovering the benefits that such total psychophysical experience can give you, accompanying each one in a path of well-being, personal and spiritual growth.
Moreover, always interested in social activities, I propose Yoga to associations for the support of women in Rome’s suburbs in a perspective of openness and mutual exchange, to allow them to regenerate through the practice, acquiring greater awareness, experiencing moments of recollection, thus awakening the vital energy useful to deal with everyday life.
I recently created the project DoWith where practice and learning into the nature become an experience integrated with the environment in which we live.
